When you already had a design as great as the Amaruk, sometime the question of "where do we go from here" becomes challenging to answer. The new Amaruk Ti is where we chose to go! The new Amaruk Ti features the same geometry as our original Amaruk, but now in titanium rather than the 6061-T6 aluminum used on the standard Amaruk. This is the first time Kangook has worked with titanium and we couldn't be more pleased with the result! The grade 2 titanium definitely adds a degree of stiffness over our aluminum frame!
Amaruk Ti Features!
The Amaruk features a 140cm cage that can be disassembled in less than 2 minutes with no tools required! Spend more time flying and less assembling anywhere your adventures take you! The 140cm cage easily accommodates propellers up to 130cm in diameter. The engine is mounted directly to our newly designed mounts purpose built eliminating any unnecessary weight and loss of strength from engine adapters. A new feature of the Amaruk Ti is the ability to mount both an Atom 80 and Moster 185 on the same frame, as well as the ability to swap at any time! The thrust line features a slight negative angle causing the thrust line to pass below the pivot point of the swing arms providing industry leading pitch stability. Both swing arms options, stainless-steel swing arms and the Kobra style arms are compatible with the Amaruk Ti. The frame geometry provides maximum strength while also enhancing safety by maximizing netting coverage of the cage where it matters most.
